In response to hunter requests, in 2018 Huntdata created a map with the combined land ownership and concentration data called the Hybrid map. The Hybrid map allows the hunter to determine where they CAN hunt from land use perspective, and where they SHOULD hunt based on game concentrations. This is the Gold Standard for Hunting Maps! Each map is projected at a scale (1:80, 100, 120, or 1:160,000) that matches the size of the unit to ensure legibility. It includes current public and private land, elk and deer summer and winter concentrations, and 7.5 minute roads and trails from the popular USGS Quad maps. The print material is tear and water resistant map fabric that will ensure the map lasts as long as your memories! The map can be loaded digitally using the quick scan QR code on the map that loads the map into your Smartphone using Avenza Maps mapping application. Download the Avenza App from your App store, scan the QR code, and hit the trail with a fully functioning GPS that works using satellites without any type of cell coverage. The maps are re-built each year using current, up-to-date land ownership data from the BLM, State, and USGS. All of the maps display the roads and trails from the USGS 7.5 minute Quad series at 1:80, 100, 120, or 1:160,000 scales depending on the unit size to ensure the map is readible.
